After completing my medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and my Family Medicine residency at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California, I saw firsthand the challenges patients face in accessing quality primary care in our region. Long waits. Short visits. A system that leaves both patients and doctors feeling frustrated.
I opened Casa De Salud Primary Care with Dr. Cushing because I knew there was a better way.

I am a family physician who has been practicing in Monterey County since 2015. I attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency at Natividad, where I met Dr. Flores. I have passionately advocated for the need to radically transform our conventional healthcare systems and patient care in this country, and I see the founding of Casa de Salud as an integral part of that effort. I have continued my training after residency with additional coursework in Functional Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), and I am pleased to be able to offer these modalities to patients seeking to improve their overall health.
